Unfortunately some issues (unrelated to us) have cropped up for one of the landowners, who has withdrawn permission to use the property.

We have secured some land at Waitarere to hold a closed club ride. We guestimate the track could be approx 25kms - there is something for everyone with undulating farm country, a pocket of forestry and an A-section, plus kids track. The venue is adjacent to Sand Country Run, but we have not ridden here before.

This is a fundraiser for Poroutawhao Community Hall.

Our membership year expires on 30th June, so it's time to renew your club membership.

A form will be mailed out with the next newsletter, but if you are in a hurry to get your membership renewed you can download the form from our Membership page. 

New members are always welcomed too - your application will be put to the next committee meeting for approval.

Some of you may need your HMCC membership renewed in time to reapply for a MNZ competition licence - please allow plenty of time for your HMCC renewal to be processed.  (For MNZ licence renewal see here).

The Annual General Meeting of the Horowhenua Motorcycle Club Inc, will be held Wednesday 22nd June 2011 at 7.30pm for 8pm start, at the Waikanae Chartered Club, Elizabeth Street, Waikanae

AGENDA:
1. Approval of the minutes of the previous AGM;
2. Financial Accounts;
3. Presidents Report;
4. Election of officers and members of the Committee; *
5. Approval of the annual subscription;
6. Amendments to the rules; **
7. Other special resolutions; **
8. General Business

* Elections shall take place by calling for nominations from the floor, and subsequent voting by ballot.  Only current members of Horowhenua Motorcycle Club Inc. can be nominated/elected as an officer or committee member.

** Any member wishing to move a motion requiring a special resolution must give a notice of motion in writing to the Secretary at least 14 days before the meeting. 

The meeting is open to all club members - come along and support the club! 
This is a chance to meet the committee and other club members.

It's already too wet, and with more rain forecast and a bad outlook for Sunday, we would cause too much damage to the farmland. 

Please help us spread the word that the ride is cancelled!!

We are looking to reschedule in spring.
