Please aim to arrive WELL BEFORE 9.45am.
Cost per rider: main track $30, kids track $20 * - Please BYO lunch and drink. There will be food for sale and if you like venison you are in for a treat - venison superburgers $5, sausages $3 and filled rolls.
TRACK DETAILS:
A loop track with a variety of terrain with farmland and forestry. A group of us have done a loop of the track and everything looks OK, the Ohau river is low and with fine weather forecast for the weekend all crossings should be fine.
There is a change to the start of the track with more farm land and a big ridge with great views to ride up. Ride is just over 25kms so you should be able to get quite a few loops in
With all the storms that happened last year we are unable to use the ridge ride option but all the rest of the track is good to go.
As normal we will have a kids track and a pee wee loop as well. And after lunch we may have a shortened part of the main track of about 4kms for the more experienced kids.
With the fine weather it'll be dusty so make sure you have your goggles. It won't be all dusty there will still be some mud to play in as well.
